Brand Manager
The successful candidate will work with the Brand Director and manage numerous projects, leveraging agency resources as it pertains to the client's needs. This includes working with fellow Account Service, Media, Creative and Technology team members to plan and accomplish goals. The Brand Manager will rely on experience and judgment and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
The Brand Manager will also target potential clients and develop relationships in order to acquire new accounts as well as manage client pitches.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Manage clients' campaigns, ensuring initiatives are not only strategically and creatively on target but also delivered on time and within budget
- Understand clients' marketing objectives and work with the Brand Director to develop strategies that meet those objectives
- Manage marketing proposals and budgets as it relates to new assignments
- Correspond and meet with clients to provide a consistent level of service that exceeds their expectations
- Manage associate-level resources, which provide logistical support to the team (e.g. conference reports, proof-reading, do research, etc.)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications or similarly related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in account management at an advertising or marketing agency
- Detailed-oriented, organized and stellar written/verbal communications
- Excellent project management and presentation skills
- Familiarity with a variety of industry concepts, practices and procedures
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple non-competing accounts
- Professional demeanor and the ability to build and maintain supportive relationships

Associate Brand Manager
- Reports to the Brand Director (BD).
- Supports BD in managing traditional and digital marketing strategies and executions for an IT software company (primary), as well as multiple other accounts (secondary).
- Leads all ongoing project activities and some brand/campaign extensions for assigned accounts.
Responsibilities:
A. People:
- Develops strong INK team, agency partner, and client relationships.
- Pursues career development opportunities by working with the BD.
- Anticipates team needs and supports the BD's work.
B. Account Knowledge and Planning:
- Tracks the competitive landscape, and works with the BD on periodic reports relevant to project performance.
- Conducts, documents, and shares client and industry marketing-relevant research with the team on a regular basis.
- Supports the BD with account planning.
C. Assignments and Process:
- Manages the day-to-day needs of their account assignments.
- Works with the BD to manage project estimates and accounting, as well as schedules.
- Supports team workflow, ensuring timely and efficient work completion, and helps the BD guide consensus and adherence to strategy on all projects.
- Acts as a Traffic Manager, routing work through the agency/acting as a process steward. Works with BD to obtain approval of work by internal, client, and other stakeholders.
- Works with BD to develop project documentation (ex: Proposals, Statements of Work, Briefs, Change Orders).
- Facilitates the sharing of other information.
- Acts as an Asset Manager, helping centralize account assets and updating team when assets are added/changed.
- Coordinates communications (ex: Attending status meetings, creating status reports, creating meeting reports, etc.) within INK, its partners, and its clients.
- Balances work priorities/multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Consolidates completed project information and creates case studies.
Requirements/Skills:
- Live in or willing to relocate to Orange County.
- College degree is required. Business or marketing concentration is preferred.
- 2+ years of traditional marketing support experience (ex: Print advertising, out-of-home, collateral, events) and knowledge of offline media required.
- 2+ years digital marketing support experience (ex: Online advertising, websites, web applications, video) and knowledge of digital media required.
- Knowledge of/Experience with project management processes is preferred.
- Interest in marketing technologies and emerging media is preferred.
- Knowledge of/Experience with business software is preferred.
- Knowledge of Apple and PC platforms; MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project (or OmniPlan), is required.
- Strong organization and presentation (verbal and written) skills are required. Strong analytical skills are preferred.
