How Much$500 per semester

Week 1

Learn what makes a great ad campaign. How to decipher a Creative Brief. Concepting techniques that really work. Watch your instructors create an ad campaign on the spot - real creative work in action! Receive your first client assignment.

Week 2

Learn how to present your work to Account Execs, Creative Directors and Clients. Receive detailed hands-on feedback from a Creative Director and Copywriter. You'll leave class with concrete suggestions to take your ad concepts to the next level.

Week 3

You'll present your first completed campaign to the group and your Creative Director and receive final feedback to make your campaign portfolio-worthy. Students will be paired in two-person teams of Copywriters and Designers. Teams receive their next client assignment and creative brief.

Week 4

Each team presents their first-round concepts. The strongest concepts from each campaign are selected and refined. Teams have two more weeks to complete their ad campaign for final presentation.

Week 5

A guest lecturer will give you the inside scoop on the OC Ad Industry and answer your questions. Select students will be invited to participate in on-site design labs to refine and produce their best concepts under the direction of senior Creatives.

Week 6

Teams present their completed ad campaign to the group for final feedback. Each student will also present all their work from the semester and we'll select the strongest campaigns for the semester-end showcase.

Week 7

This is it! The chance to showcase your best work to OC Creative Directors/Ad guns. Rub elbows with industry pros and get your name out there.
